Norwegian furniture manufacturer Ekornes has announced the appointment of James Thompson as MD for the Stressless brand in the UK and Ireland.
Current MD James Tate has accepted the global position of CEO at Ekornes owned IMG, from June he will work alongside the new MD to ensure a smooth and successful transition.
James Thompson joins Ekornes Limited from the Sandals Resorts group where he was retail director, his previous roles include retail director at Heals within furniture responsible for franchise and licensees.
