Another development for the next edition of Spring Fair is a strengthened partnership between i2i Events Group and UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), which has been forged to inspire and support UK-based SMEs in their efforts to succeed in overseas markets. Five UKTI Villages will be located around the NEC with a total of 50 carefully-selected exhibitors, all entrepreneurial British companies with a particular strength in export business that are new to the show.  An Export Theatre designed with invaluable networking opportunities in mind will be located within the International Buyers Lounge in Hall 4, also featuring a striking display of British-made products to entice overseas retailers.

UKTI will assist Spring Fair exhibitors with a unique hosted buyer programme that will see 50 of the world’s leading department store buyers brought directly to the NEC.

Also new for 2014 is Sprout, an presentation for first-time kitchen, dining and housewares exhibitors located within Hall 1, an essential destination for homeware buyers in search of complementary crossover product.

As well as bringing thousands of market-leading suppliers together under one roof, i2i Events Group has also made great investments in the free business content and available at Spring Fair. The Trend Briefing Seminar Theatre in Hall 6 will provide a stylish backdrop to the world-class seminar programme put together by an expert content team, dedicated to providing Spring Fair visitors with a wealth of invaluable advice and information that will keep them ahead of the retail game in the year ahead.

The programme will start on Sunday 2nd February at 11am with an insight into Interior Home Trends for Spring-Summer 2014, a presentation of the most influential themes, colours, materials and products for the home interiors market for the coming season. Trend Company will explain the key trends from concept to categories to help inform on buying in the coming season.
