Hypnos joins The Furniture Makers’ Company

The Furniture Makers’ Company, the furnishing industry’s charity, has welcomed UK bed manufacturer Hypnos Beds as its latest corporate member.

Hypnos, which is based in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire, is the The Furniture Makers’ Company’s 31st corporate member. Corporate membership provides opportunities for companies involved in the furnishing sector to directly participate in the industry’s main charitable organisation.

Membership contributions are critical to the company’s ability to deliver much-needed support for welfare, education and excellence. As corporate members, each company has the opportunity to nominate up to three senior executives to become corporate liverymen.

Ben Burbidge, master of The Furniture Makers’ Company, says: “We are delighted to welcome such a well-respected brand as Hypnos Beds as corporate members. Our corporate members are of the greatest importance to us – and to the future of furnishing. All members, individual or corporate, are invited to participate in the many events in the city livery calendar, which are great for networking, entertaining, as well as having fun.”

Peter Keen, Hypnos Beds' chairman, adds: “We are thrilled to be a corporate member of The Furniture Makers’ Company, which represents British manufacturing excellence. As a company which prides itself on creating the finest, handmade and sustainable beds and mattresses for the most luxurious homes and hotels across the world, we felt that it was important to be involved in the industry and give something back to it by helping to be part of the industry as it evolves.”
