Manchester-based furniture supplier Mountrose entered administration on 11 July 2016, with business advisory firm FRP Advisory called in to assist.
31 out of 39 staff members have been made redundant, with the remaining 8 to help complete orders until the sale of the business and assets are finalised.
The business is a specialist furniture supplier to the retail industry and direct to customers via home delivery.
Mountrose has seven offices globally, and its products are available from big name retailers including Asda, Very, JD Williams, Jacamo, Simply Be and Littlewoods.
