Baroness Karren Brady joins Spring Fair line-up

Baroness Karren Brady CBE is the latest high-profile businesswoman to be announced as a keynote speaker at the UK’s largest gift and home trade event, Spring Fair.

Taking place at the Birmingham NEC from 5-9th February, Spring Fair was launched in 1950 and attracts 60,000 visitors – all vying to find the latest gifting and homeware products for their stores. Lady Brady joins respected retail expert Mary Portas, Mulberry founder Roger Saul and many other leading speakers at the event.

One of the UK’s most influential and respected business leaders, Lady Brady has a wealth of experience. Currently responsible for running West Ham United Football Club, she also holds high profile roles at Syco Entertainment and Taveta Investments – the owner of Arcadia. Having received a CBE for her services to business, entrepreneurship and women in business, and excelled in her role as Sir Alan Sugar’s right hand-women in TV show The Apprentice, Lady Brady is well placed to offer the UK’s independent retailers guidance on building their businesses.

At Spring Fair on 7th February, Lady Brady will offer independent retailers, gift and home buyers advice on how to be successful in the future retail industry in the Fashion and Accessories Catwalk from 1.55-2.25pm.

Nick Davison, portfolio director at Spring Fair, adds: “The line-up of speakers at this year’s Spring Fair is exceptional. Each year we deliver a programme that enables retailers to develop their businesses, through exclusive insights and trends. Being able to learn from the experiences of both Lady Brady and Mary Portas means this year’s edition simply can’t be missed.”
