Decorex to relocate in 2019

Interior design event Decorex International is to move to Olympia London for its 2019 edition, following a four-year run at Syon Park. The date will also shift to 6-9th October, coinciding with PAD and Frieze Art Fair to offer a breadth of cultural experience, decoration and contemporary art and design, and promising exhibitors a greater concentration of high-net-worth individuals.

Olympia London is currently undergoing the biggest regeneration in its 130-year history. Led by Thomas Heatherwick Studio in collaboration with Spparc Architects, the £700m overhaul is set to transform the venue into a creative, cultural hub and London landmark – for Decorex, that means more space to develop new features and ensure a richer, bolder show experience.

Sam Fisher, brand manager, says: “Steeped in history and at the epicentre of Kensington’s prestigious art and design district, the move to Olympia will see us continue to define luxury interior design, presenting the most established brands and best up-and-coming names across the spectrum of design and making.

"Decorex 2019 will introduce a number of new features, and we will remain one of the foremost platforms for new ideas, industry insight and design innovation. Visitors will see our seminars and events programme developed even further with new ways for both exhibitors and visitors to interact with the show and each other."
