Given the recent Covid-19 outbreaks in Shanghai and across China, the Chinese government has revised its guidelines to prevent the staging of large-scale gatherings unless they are of "significant necessity" , so the organiser of the 27th China International Furniture Expo (Furniture China) and Maison Shanghai 2021, originally scheduled to be held from 28th–31st December 2021 at Shanghai New International Expo Center, have made the decision to officially postpone the fairs to the third week of September 2022. Furniture China will now take place from 13-17th September, and Maison Shanghai from 12-15th September.

In lieu of the physical event, a series of webinars will take place from 28th December, accompanying regional physical and digital trade shows in eastern, central, northern and south-western China.

Additionally, the organiser boasts a digital fair focusing on exporting trade services, and EZBUY, a professional sourcing service, available here.
