Wholesaler celebrates FT1000 ranking

Blackpool-based homewares wholesaler Native Home & Lifestyle has ranked 538th in the Financial Times 1000, the annual list of Europe’s fastest-growing companies.

Native Home & Lifestyle was founded in 2018 in the north-west of England, and now operates through more than 300 stockists. Native offers over 200 products through its wholesale channel, and also operates a dropship service.

The brand is owned by Xplort, which also operates Artsy Doormats and natural homewares brand, Native Natural.

"To make the annual FT1000 list, there is a criteria to fit, and the businesses that ranked this year show a sufficient amount of resilience," reads a statement from the Financial Times. "To survive the ups and downs that came with the pandemic, these businesses have had to deal with a lack of staff, Brexit, supply issues and so much more. The hope for those on the list is that the growth will only continue."

Xplort adds: "Although tech and health dominated the top spots, it was incredible to see that XPLORT was one of the 12 furniture/interior brands selected, and were 7th out of the 12."

The FT1000 compiles companies that have had the highest compound growth rate in revenue between 2017-20, and the CAGR required was +36.5%. XPLORT is one of 155 UK companies to have made the list.
