At the beginning of July, Sheffield Children’s Hospital awarded its New Corporate Partnership Award to bed and mattress brand, Sleepeezee. Following the successful sales of its Jessica mattress range across 2021-22, Sleepeezee has raised a total of £84,500 for the children’s hospital.
The Jessica range, named after the brand’s ambassador Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill, was designed for those with an active lifestyle. With each mattress sold, Sleepeezee donates £20 to the children’s hospital.
Tchad Western, chief fun officer at The Children’s Hospital Charity, comments: “We are so grateful for the continued support of Sleepeezee and are delighted that they were our worthy winners of the New Corporate Partnership Award. Each year we recognise businesses that have gone above and beyond to support Sheffield Children’s Hospital, and Sleepeezee have done just that through the sales of their Jessica mattresses.”
As a charity close to Jessica Ennis-Hill’s heart, the London 2012 Olympic champion states: “As a proud patron of the hospital charity, it’s amazing to support people that make such a difference to so many children and young people’s lives. I am delighted that the Jessica range has raised so much for this incredible charity.”
Sheffield Children’s Hospital provides a comprehensive range of care for children and young people in Sheffield and beyond. Its care focuses on local services for general children’s health, such as health visiting and school nursing, through to highly specialised, world-leading services.
