As the driving force of creativity and commerce during London Design Festival, 100% Design will return from 17-20th September to Earls Court London, celebrating its 20th anniversary.
Regarded as a leading global design event, 100% Design is known for its commitment to questioning, informing and invigorating the design community with inspiring features. The show continues to attract a record number of visitors year-on-year, and this year it has increased its exhibition space by 20%.
100% Design 2014 will celebrate the show’s contribution to the rise of British design in the last two decades, whilst looking ahead to the future of design.
The show will comprise four key industry sections - Interiors, Kitchens & Bathrooms, Workplace and Eco, Design & Build. Showing new design talent, Emerging Brands will also return, alongside International Pavilions, featuring an array of innovative designs by creative practices from around the world. Furthermore, 100% Design has commissioned a group of creative teams led by show designer Thomas.Matthews, to produce thought-provoking installations for the central hubs, offering challenging and interactive content.
The auditorium - home to Talks with 100% Design - will be designed by El Ultimo Grito, and will host a series of live debates and seminars curated by Claire Barrett.
To mark its 20th edition, 100% Design will also present a range of celebratory events - from an integrated timeline around the central bar designed by Studio Design UK, to a Design Kaleidoscope exhibition showcasing 20 iconic design products launched at 100% Design.
