Autumn Long Point

Long Point’s autumn edition returns to the Derbyshire mill town of Long Eaton between 15-17th September, offering buyers new and exclusive collections from eight permanent showroom locations.

The autumn edition of the show is set to feature over 35 exhibitors. The 3d Partnership, Cavendish Upholstery, ercol, Origin Red, the Vintage Sofa Company and Collins and Hayes Furniture – the latter of which will establish a permanent showroom in Harrington Mill next month – join the exhibition’s established line-up, which chiefly comprises high-end upholstery manufacturers of the Long Eaton Guild of Furniture Manufacturers.

New product launches include: Alstons Upholstery’s Cambridge, with fabrics including soft chenilles, plains and stripes, as well as fabric additions to the Newport and Vermont models; four new ranges plus new fabrics from Cavendish Upholstery; the new painted finish and oak-topped Windsor and bleached oak Essen ranges from Carlton Furniture;

Celebrity will launch Pembroke, a range of three riser-recliners with co-ordinating fixed chair and settees; Parker Knoll will unveil additions to its contemporary LifeStyle collection along with new fabrics; and Wade Upholstery will extend its Welbeck collection.

Meadowmead invites visitors to visit its refurbished Henderson Russell showroom and factory, discover the latest from the Barton Furniture and John Sankey brands, and enjoy lunch in the company’s new restaurant, while Steed Upholstery, now entering its 50th year, extends a similar invitation to its own showroom.

Meanwhile, contemporary Spanish upholstery manufacturer Belta/Frajumar will launch some of its latest designs through UK agent The 3d Partnership.

Visitors can enjoy subsidised rates for stays at the nearby Risley Hall Hotel, and courtesy transport between the official Long Point venues and most local transport hubs is available upon request.
