With a growing reputation in China and abroad, the 44th China International Furniture Fair (Shanghai), coming this September, is looking to feature over 1500 exhibitors from all over the world, to present the trade with “A Paradigm for Global Living” …
CIFF (Shanghai) is one of China’s few truly international home furniture exhibitions, attracting more than 10,000 international visitors to each edition, and striving to offer domestic furniture buyers and sellers a platform for worldwide trade.
Taking place in the second half of the year, CIFF (Shanghai) leverages the national industry’s resources to create an appealing sourcing hub for designers, brands, buyers, the media, and others – and it encompasses the entire supply chain, thanks to the incorporation of the Shanghai International Furniture Machinery & Woodworking Machinery Fair (WMF), to be held in halls 7.1 and 8.1.
This year, CIFF’s organiser has taken great efforts to transform Hall 4.1 into the show’s Contemporary Design Hall, where it will bring together some of the home furnishings industry’s leading design brands. These include stand-out Chinese names such as Camerich and HC28, which have booked stands covering more than 1000 sqm of the hall.
Through everything, CIFF seeks to convey the growing reliability and attractiveness of Chinese design, and reinforces this message through numerous on-site activities and features. These include: the East Design Show, promoting some of the best in Asian design, and focused on turning “good designs” into “good business”; the Pritzker Architecture Prize Forum, which will feature the works of Portuguese architect (and winner of the 1992 Pritzker Architecture Prize) Alvaro Siza;
the Design Dream Show (DDS), which seeks to celebrate innovation in original Chinese design, and promote the competitiveness of China’s domestic industry; the M+ China Top Interior Design Award, which aims to reward high-end interior design; Top List, a summary of CIFF’s 100 premier brands and dealers; and Green Running, an environmental initiative.
CIFF (Shanghai) will take place from 8-11th September at the National Exhibition & Convention Center in Hongqiao, Shanghai.
