Dining, Giving and Living are the names of the three segments at Ambiente, the leading international trade fair. From 13-17th February 2015, 4700 exhibitors will be displaying goods from the field of design, innovation and lifestyle trends in 27 halls. With around 2200 exhibitors in 16 halls, the Dining segment represents the entire market for table, kitchen and household wares. It covers everything from the premium segment right up to the volume business. The product groups are as clearly structured as the range in the Dining segment is broad. This means that purchasers from various marketing channels and assortments do not have to look far, giving them more time to scout for new items. “The manufacturers’ innovation cycles are geared to the date of Ambiente. This is why trade visitors in Frankfurt can see considerably more new items than at other fairs with similar thematic emphases”, says Thomas Kastl, director at Ambiente for the Dining segment.
As the largest sourcing platform outside China, Ambiente offers purchasers ideal conditions for the volume business. Thanks to its clear structure and short paths between the product groups in the Passage section, orders can be placed efficiently and across industries. In the Passage product groups Table & Decoration, Passage Table & Kitchen Select and Passage Dining & Houseware volume suppliers with export experience will be displaying an international range of goods and services.
For three years now, Ambiente has seen an increase in the offerings from the field of commercial contract furnishing and Horeca. Here professional buyers, fitters, interior designers, caterers and the upmarket hotel industry come together with around 270 exhibitors specialising in these fields. In the run-up to the fair, the Matchmaking Platform offers an opportunity to target one’s researches and to arrange appointments. Apart from this, the ‘Contract Guide’ brochure provides information during the fair about exhibitors and persons to contact. The Contract Business Label makes it easy to find exhibitors on the homepage and in the halls.
Ambiente’s visitor programme is an important instrument for ensuring that a visit to the fair runs smoothly and efficiently. The United States of America will be present as the partner country at this, the world’s leading trade fair. The partner country presentation ‘Seashore Galore’ will form an impressive platform for products by exhibitors from the USA. The Kitchen Innovation of the Year award will also once again be presented at Ambiente.
