A quarter of a century since the inception of the UK's first dedicated design trade exhibition, 100% Design is moving into a new phase this year as Design London, which will take place at a new venue, Magazine London, from 16-19th September.
Situated in the new Greenwich Design District, the show will offer visitors strong transport links during London Design Festival.
The inaugural event will feature rich content and a curated selection of design brands alongside a wealth of emerging talent, states organiser Media 10.
Jedd Barry, marketing manager, Design London, says: “This launch is a showcase of the creativity, diversity and innovation that the design industry has to offer, and will celebrate the UK as one of the most important places for specification internationally.”
To coincide with the show's launch, Greenwich Peninsula will welcome London’s first purpose-built design district, a workspace designed for the creative industries.
Media 10 CEO Lee Newton comments: “Design London will showcase a highly curated selection of brands, each of which produces groundbreaking and original products. Magazine London provides the perfect backdrop for presenting contemporary design and I have no doubt that this will be a highlight of LDF 2020.”
