This year's edition of Espritmeuble, which returns to the Parc des Expositions at Paris Porte de Versailles from 1st-4th December, will promote the notion of a "desirable and sustainable" furniture sector, says the show's organiser.
The 7th edition of the premium show will see sustainable development, a key issue for the furniture sector, brought into focus – covering topics such as materials, production processes, consumption, waste and recycling through greater exhibitor involvement, events, sustainable catering outlets, new layout and a mobile app, all designed to limit Espritmeuble's environmental impact.
The exhibition originated from the association of two major French furniture players: Gaëtan Ménard, MD of Meubles Ernest; and Alain Liault, MD of Meubles Celio.
