France’s biggest furniture exhibition is just around the corner – Espritmeuble Paris, which will take place between 6-9th December at Porte de Versailles, will bring together some 200 brands, including some of the biggest European names.
December sees Espritmeuble take place in Paris once again. The show has grown quickly to encompass a huge range of key French manufacturers, and brands from further afield, looking to supply collections for beyond the winter sales.
Looking to deliver a dynamic event in the face of changing consumer demands and economic trends, the organiser of Espritmeuble has extended a warm welcome to English-speaking visitors, promising new distribution opportunities and numerous special features.
“92% of the brands from last year are coming back again this year,” says show president Gaétan Ménard, “and we also have 15-20 newcomers including Tempur and Calia Italia. The show has a great standing in Europe, with manufacturers from Portugal, Italy, Spain, Germany, Belgium and more in attendance. Some of our exhibitors – especially those from the south of Europe and France – will not be present at other events in the UK or in Cologne, so Espritmeuble is the ideal place for the trade to visit them.”
Gaétan points out that many of the products on offer are likely to prove eminently suitable for the British market: “The evolution of the French market has been quite significant in terms of style,” he says. “Some retailers from the UK might have in mind the historical styling of French furniture, which has actually completely disappeared from the market today. It is now modern and contemporary, and I truly believe that there are some offers that UK retailers will find exciting and inspiring.”
Visitors can prepare for their visit by taking an online tour of the show on the Espritmeuble website. Free entry, guide and refreshments will be available to the trade.
