Espritmeuble to focus on the future

Business and innovation will be at the heart of this year’s Espritmeuble, to be held from 6-9th December in Porte de Versailles.

There is a growing need for furniture to deal with modern mobility requirements and consumers’ increasing desire for customisation, as well as fun and ecological aspects, while promoting design and aesthetics. At this year’s event, Espritmeuble aims to cater to these needs.

Eager to promote and help the furniture industry to make progress, this year the trade fair will be launching the Espritmeuble Fablab. This manufacturing lab has so much to offer and will show how 3D printing can be applied to the furniture sector, among others.

This experimental corner where anyone can test this new technology, will be the place for exhibitors – as well as distributors and visitors – to consider the ways in which this can be applied to jobs in the furniture industry in the future. Cendrine Dominguez, with her D’Home Productions team, will present this key concept, providing new ideas for manufacturers and distributors to consider.

In addition, BFM Business, a major TV channel for economic and financial news in France, is a partner of the Espritmeuble fair, and this year, at the forefront of the trade event, the furniture industry will be at the heart of the business news on the air.

Espritmeuble’s ambition is to attract even more French and international exhibitors, so that Paris can become a major landmark for European buyers. Major French and European brands in bedding, seating and furniture have confirmed their presence, including Simmons, Treca, Dunlopillo, Bultex, Epeda, Meubles Celio, Ernest Ménard, Duvivier Canapés, Gorini, Aerre Italia, Stressless and more.
