The Festival of Upholstery, a two-day trade exhibition including live demonstrations, talks and lectures, with access to representatives from the upholstery trade, will take place on 10-11th October 2025 at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
With a mission to promote the craft of upholstery, provide educational opportunities and foster networking within the industry, the festival aims to attract a diverse range of participants, including: upholstery professionals from various areas of the trade, including students studying on the Association of Master Upholsterers and Soft Furnishers (AMUSF) courses; schools, colleges and universities that offer programmes such as the new T-Level in upholstery and furniture design courses; and related professionals, such as interior designers and interior architects.
"Please encourage your upholsterers to attend the festival," says the organiser. "It is a trade education event and could be considered CPD, and we could arrange group discounts.
"For any company that supports, supplies or involves upholsterers, there's still time to exhibit with us. We are looking for suppliers to the trade, companies with an important message for the trade, trainers of upholstery and related skills, etc."
This is a not-for-profit event, with any surplus funds directed toward the next festival and its chosen charity, Sammy’s Foundation.
There are various sponsorship opportunities available. Find out more about sponsoring and visiting on the show website.
