The Furniture Makers' Company is hosting an event that will explore what to take into consideration when planning inclusive office spaces for people with neurodiversity.
The event, entitled Embracing Neurodiversity in the Workplace, will take place from 10am-3pm on Thursday 28th September at Furniture Makers' Hall, London.
The livery company/charity says delegates will learn about the different neurodiverse conditions, what they mean for a business and the benefits of having neurodiverse colleagues, plus strategies to make a workspace neurodiverse-friendly. Attendees will also receive an explanation of the existing guidance and how to apply it.
Speakers will include: Kelly Grainger, autism and neurodiversity speaker, consultant and trainer; Jean Hewitt, inclusive environments specialist; and Helen Kane, inclusive design neurodiversity expert.
The event is free to attend for members of the livery company, and £30 otherwise. Book here.
