The second edition of Home&Tex Home Textile and Decorative Products Fair, will see industry professionals gather at the CNR Expo Centre, Istanbul, this December, for four days of textile trading.
Last year’s inaugural Home&Tex attracted a reported 19,000 – 5000 of the internationals, from 55 countries – to view 300 exhibitors, displaying goods from curtains and upholstery to floorcoverings and dining textiles.
This year, fair organiser CNR Sektorel Trade Fairs Inc – an affiliate of CNR Holding, supported in this case by the Association of Turkish Home Textiles Industrialists and Businessmen (TETSIAD) – expects an attendance of over 19,000 Turkish and international visitors, the latter chiefly from Russia, Iran, Canada, France, Spain and Italy.
Presenting the latest textile products steering trend and fashion, the Home&Tex exhibition has created great interest from the home textiles and home fashion sector. As the world’s fourth largest home textiles supplier, with a 5% share of the global market, Turkey has set itself an export objective of US$10b by 2023, and Home&Tex has a vital role to play in achieving this.
