IFFINA returns to showcase Indonesia's finest

IFFINA (Indonesia Meubel & Design Expo) is set to make its return this year, bringing the best of the region's furniture and design together under one roof.

Taking place from 14-17th September, the event promises to be a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation. Located at ICE BSD City, Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia, IFFINA will offer a diverse range of categories targeting buyers, retail chains, project and hospitality professionals.

With show sectors including Decorative, Gift & Homeware, Project & Design, Home Fabric, Materials, Furniture & Craft, IFFINA promises to cater for to a wide range of design preferences and industry needs.

The show's September timeline was chosen for several reasons, says the show's organiser: many furniture retailers offer end-of-summer sales to clear out their inventory and make room for new arrivals, providing opportunity to find discounted prices on outdoor furniture, patio sets, and other seasonal items; as the temperature starts to cool, consumers often look to refresh their interiors and create cosy living spaces for the upcoming autumn and winter seasons, and retailers may introduce new furniture collections, or offer promotions on items including sofas, accent chairs, coffee tables and rugs, to cater to this demand;

September is a popular month for furniture trade shows and exhibitions, which can provide insights into upcoming trends and enable customers to explore a wide range of furniture options; and for those considering custom furniture orders, September is a good time to start the process – custom furniture often has longer lead times, so placing an order early ensures customised pieces are received in time.

IFFINA promises to be a premier platform for manufacturers, designers and suppliers wishing to engage with a global audience.

The show will take pride in promoting Indonesian heritage and craftsmanship, showcasing the country's cultural traditions, and blending them with contemporary design elements. Visitors will witness the fusion of traditional techniques and modern aesthetics, resulting in unique pieces. From intricate woodwork to elegant textiles, IFFINA is set to highlight the diversity and artistry of Indonesian craftsmanship.

In line with growing demand for sustainable and eco-friendly options, IFFINA will also showcase exhibitors which prioritise ethical sourcing, eco-conscious materials, and sustainable production methods. This commitment to environmental responsibility underscores the industry's dedication to creating a greener future, and visitors will be able to explore an array of sustainable choices, including recycled materials and ethically sourced components.

Alongside the exhibition, IFFINA will feature a series of seminars and workshops conducted by industry experts. These sessions will delve into various topics including design trends, market insights, sustainability and innovation.

Located in the heart of BSD City, ICE serves as the setting for a wide range of national and international events. With its expansive 22-hectare area, it is one of Indonesia's largest exhibition and convention centres, and offers professional assistance and guidance.

Online registration is now open, states the organiser, "and you absolutely cannot afford to miss this opportunity to connect with fellow enthusiasts and experts in the industry. Picture yourself networking with trusted manufacturers, producers, and renowned designers, forming valuable partnerships, and unlocking a world of limitless possibilities.
