IFFT/Interior Lifestyle Living

Japan's IFFT/Interior Lifestyle Living has begun preparations for the next edition, taking place from 7–9th November 2016 at Tokyo Big Sight. The fair has increased its size, and has changed its opening days to Monday to Wednesday instead of the usual Wednesday to Friday.

It will be held during Tokyo Design Week, when all the important design events are held across Tokyo, and will offer an indispensable business platform for all those involved in the interior and design industry.

Last year, IFFT/Interior Lifestyle Living welcomed 431 exhibitors from 18 countries/regions, and 17,999 visitors (17,459 domestic, 540 from overseas) from 29 countries and regions.

This year, the third edition of a special zone, The Hotel, aims to set new standards for accommodation style, while the Creative Resource area will become a source of materials and skills inspiration for home remodelling, presenting business opportunities for architects, designers and housing manufacturers.

The group that designs and directs IFFT/Interior Lifestyle Living and its sister fair, Creative Direction, also sees the addition of new members Mana Kobayashi (Design Office IMA) and Hideyuki Yamano (Takaiyama Inc).

The fair is held annually in November, and is the sister fair of Interior Lifestyle Tokyo held in June, which is based on Ambiente, Messe Frankfurt’s international consumer goods fair, and Heimtextil, the biggest international home and contract textiles fair.
