What’s keeping you busy right now?
I’ve been in the furniture industry for over 20 years, and during that time I’ve seen the sector face a complex array of challenges – and none more so than today’s demanding environment!
From consumer price sensitivity and increased operating costs, to supply chain disruptions, what’s keeping me busy right now is working with my team at AIS to support our members and our global network of suppliers as they face these challenges head-on.
How is AIS helping its members and suppliers at this time?
We are continually looking at ways to help and support our community of members and suppliers. In today’s shifting landscape, that includes developing ways to help optimise the supply chain for value, elevate the digital experience for connection, and build lasting relationships through quality and common purpose.
What can visitors expect to find at January’s INDX Furniture?
Tough times call for smarter choices, and our role at INDX Furniture is simple – to provide the most efficient and effective meeting point for innovation and commercial business. We remain focused on creating authentic, trend- and market-driven shows that connect visiting retailers with the most forward-thinking suppliers in the business. Retailers need better products and stronger margins, and our suppliers need a clear path to market – the upcoming show will connect the two.
Combining market insight and commercial expertise, visiting buyers can expect a carefully edited exhibitor line-up including HTL, G Plan Upholstery, Primavera, Kuka, Sofa Source and Gallery Direct.
What’s new?
It’s always important to introduce new exhibitors to the show, and we are always looking for brands that will not only strengthen but also enhance and evolve our core of key returners. In January, we are delighted to be welcoming a hand-picked selection of suppliers making their INDX debut, including the highly commercial and affordable Zoy Furniture.
Kuka Home, one of the top five manufacturers in the Far East, will be showcasing their collection of cool designs, and You’re Furnished will be joining the line-up, as specialists in furniture with a reclaimed edge. Vale Bridgecraft are also not to be missed – handmade in the UK, and a big surprise (it's not the Vale Bridgecraft you once knew!).
