Supported by key Turkish trade associations including the Inegol Furniture Manufacturers Association, Inegol Chamber of Commerce, Inegol Carpentery and Furniture Makers Chamber, organiser Modef Fairs works hard to promote the region’s furniture production capabilities at every opportunity.
The October exhibition – another show tailored towards the domestic market takes place each March – reflects Turkey’s largest furniture manufacturing community within a 28,000m2 covered exhibition space.
“We have around 200 top manufacturers, offering European-level design and quality,” comments Yavuz Ugurdag, chairman of Modef Fairs. “Our sole focus is furniture manufacture, and offering international customers a reliable service – we can produce to FR requirements, and in line with IFS Laboratories in the UK. Also, our wood and wood-based raw materials are certified by international audits.”
The fair works closely with local authorities to ensure visitors are able to enjoy what the city has to offer, such as sampling the city’s world-famous meatballs, or visiting the local caves, Turkish baths, and snowboarding opportunities on Uludağ mountain. Additionally, Inegol is just two hours away from Istanbul.
