The January Furniture Show is entering its final countdown ahead of opening at NEC Birmingham on Sunday 18th this month.
Taking place at the start of the buying year, the show will bring together the furniture and interiors industry for four days of sourcing, insight and connection. More than 500 UK and international brands, some 50,000 products and around 20,000 buyers, retailers, designers and specifiers are expected, making JFS 2026 "one of the most commercially significant editions to date", says organiser The Furniture Shows.
A defining feature of this year’s show is the scale of new product launches, with many of the industry’s best-known brands choosing JFS as the official platform to debut their latest collections. Confirmed companies launching new ranges include Hooker Furnishings, Birlea, Loren Williams, Bluebone, World Furniture, Buoyant Upholstery, Sofa Source International, La-Z-Boy, Pick4U, Shire Beds and Whitemeadow.
Spanning upholstery, beds, cabinet, living and lifestyle categories, these launches reinforce JFS’ role as the industry’s primary new-season buying and launch destination, giving buyers first access to new designs, materials and innovations. Many exhibitors will also be offering show-only pricing, launch incentives and early-order opportunities, underlining the commercial value of attending in person.
Hall 1, sponsored by Hooker Furnishings, features an expanded Premium Design showcase, spotlighting high-end and design-forward brands. Hall 2, sponsored by Scatter Box brings together Home, Garden & Lifestyle, offering commercially strong collections with the new addition of 'Garden'. Hall 3, sponsored by VIDA Living, focuses on Living, Dining & Cabinet, spanning core furniture categories and key price points. Hall 5, sponsored by Buoyant Upholstery, is dedicated to Upholstery & Beds, highlighting comfort, craftsmanship and innovation.
Alongside sourcing, visitors can access future-focused insight on the Retail Revealed LIVE stage, plus a strong programme of networking and hospitality designed to encourage meaningful connection across the industry.
On-site hospitality steps up this year with the introduction of the Botanical Garden Bar, sponsored by Denbigh Rowe, which will host this year’s Happy Hour on Tuesday 20th January, 3-4pm, while buyers seeking a more premium experience can access the VIP Lounge. The show will also feature the British Furniture Association Networking Lounge, delivered in partnership with the show's lead charity partner, The Furniture Maker's Company.
A series of dedicated industry events further strengthens the show’s community focus, including the official Show Party, and a programme of events hosted by the Women in Furniture Network (WIFN), with a networking brunch and new speed networking session designed to support connection, mentoring and discussion around careers, leadership and the future of the furniture industry.
The show will also host the (now sold out) inaugural Excellence in Furniture Awards, celebrating outstanding achievement, innovation and craftsmanship across the sector.
"Now in its 36th edition, the January Furniture Show remains a cornerstone of the furniture calendar," the show organiser concludes. "Taking place at a pivotal moment in the buying cycle, it offers a concentrated opportunity to assess market direction, strengthen relationships and place orders with confidence. With less than a week to go, anticipation is building as exhibitors prepare to unveil new launches and visitors finalise plans to attend."
The event will run from 18th-21st this month at the NEC Birmingham, halls 1, 2, 3 and 5, and is open to trade professionals only. To attend, click here.
