New lines make an entrance in Manchester

As summer approaches, anticipation builds for one of the UK’s most important mid-year trade events in the home, furniture and interiors calendar, the Manchester Furniture Show (MFS).

Taking place on Sunday 6th to Monday 7th July at Manchester Central, MFS 2025 is not just a marketplace, says organiser Clarion Events: “It’s an opportunity for the sector to reset, reconnect and refocus as the second half of the year comes into view.”

But what product launches can visitors expect to find there? While many exhibitors keep their headline launches under wraps until the doors open, several have already teased previews of what’s to come – and it is shaping up to be one of the most dynamic product showcases yet.

Among the early highlights are:

• Scatterbox, returning with a series of bold new soft furnishing launches, blending expressive colour palettes with premium textures. The supplier’s summer collection is set to further bolster the brand’s reputation for trend-led, high-impact home accessories

• Maiullari, known for its contemporary Italian style, will make its MFS debut. Expect sleek, design-forward upholstery and case goods that balance sophistication with functionality – ideal for retailers targeting aspirational interiors

• Matahari Interiors, another debut brand, says it “blends timeless design with artisan craftsmanship, offering distinctive, high-quality furniture that adds warmth and character, ideal for retailers seeking standout, story-driven home decor”

• Allports, another first-time exhibitor, brings a growing reputation for innovation in bedroom and occasional furniture. With a focus on durability, affordability, and clever space solutions, the range is eminently suitable for the demands of modern living, says Allports

After visiting last year’s show, a buying manager at The Very Group commented: “MFS has a wonderful range of products and brands. We’ve had a busy two days with booked appointments, and it’s been great to network with people all in one place.

“Being local to Manchester has been very convenient for me. My visit was really positive, and this is a great show to look for newness and trendy products!”
