January Furniture Show, the largest furniture and interiors event in the UK, returns to the Birmingham NEC for its fifth edition from 20th-23rd January 2019, and promises to be full of premier brands and new products.
Over 500 UK and international exhibitors will populate the five main halls of the venue with a wide variety of furniture and furnishing accessories for domestic and contract use.
As a focal point for the UK furniture industry, the show unites manufacturers, suppliers, furniture service providers, retail and contract buyers under one roof.
New in 2019 is a substantially enhanced bed zone in Hall 5, with exhibitors including Sealy and Breasley. Featuring beds, mattresses and sleeping accessories, it will include the largest number of beds on display at the show to date, driven by visitor demand.
Light, in Hall 3, is a new lighting section developed in conjunction with the LIA (Lighting Industry Association), and has also been added in response to visitor requests. It will feature over 20 well-regarded UK-based brands including Loxton Lighting, Elstead and Searchlight, presenting lighting of all kinds for internal and external use.
As well as major established UK brands such as Buoyant, Duresta and Sherborne, the exhibition will also feature young brands like The Great Chair Company and Mason and Pearl, both of which are already attracting attention.
International brands are also popular at the show, and in 2019 over 40 well-known brands including Sits, Italia Living and Hartmann will present their creative and original designs.
Each year, in excess of 50,000 new products are displayed, with models and collections for every sector of the market, from high-end to mainstream. The Furniture Awards are conferred on the suppliers of some of the best new products on show across a series of categories, and these are independently judged by a team of experts including respected furniture retailers and designers.
With regular exhibitor rebooking rate of over 85%, and annual visitor numbers in excess of 20,000 visitors, the January Furniture Show is the UK’s most popular and comprehensive furniture show.
