Thailand International Furniture Fair (TIFF) is the country's key furniture fair, designed to meet the needs of designers, architects, furniture buyers and specifiers.
Set to feature over 200 furniture makers – a marked increase on last year's 167 – from Thailand and overseas, TIFF is focused on high-end designs, and will also feature the following special areas: the T-Style Project, an exhibition by world-renowned Japanese designer Toshiyuki Kita, which will feature various furniture items specially designed for the Japanese market; and the Design Excellence Award, an exhibition showcasing award-winning creative design pieces by Thai designers, who are also winners of the prestigious DEmark 2013 contest – this year, the theme is ‘Release Your Creativity’, underlining the power of the new generation in helping to care for the environment.
For buyers, the Small Order OK (SOOK) policy will be in place, to facilitate specific needs and small orders. This policy has proved popular among niche market customers such as boutique hotels and resorts, as well as contract projects.
TIFF 2014 will be held from 12-16th March, over 30,000 sqm at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. During the first three days (trade days), the event will be open from 10.00 to 18.00, while during the last two days (Retail Days), it will be open from 10.00 to 21.00.
