US bellwether brand to make UK debut at JFS

The January Furniture Show (JFS) has announced that Hooker Furnishings, a globally recognised leader in residential, contract and hospitality furniture, will be exhibiting for the first time in the UK at the upcoming 2025 edition, taking place from 19th-22nd January at the NEC Birmingham.

As part of its inaugural appearance, Hooker Furnishings will take over Hall 1 with showcases in the entrance as well as hosting the exclusive VIP Lounge. This partnership underscores Hooker Furnishings’ commitment to expanding its presence in the UK market while enhancing the JFS experience for industry professionals.

“We are absolutely delighted to welcome Hooker Furnishings to JFS,” says Zoe Bonser, portfolio director for Clarion Retail, organiser of The Furniture Shows. “Their reputation for exceptional quality and innovative design makes them a stand-out addition to our exhibitor line-up and highlights their dedication to creating meaningful connections within the UK furniture market.”

JFS is the UK’s premier trade event for the furniture industry, featuring over 500 furniture and interior brands, and attracting thousands of key decision-makers each year, including buyers, suppliers, designers and manufacturers. The event showcases a diverse range of products, from modern and traditional furniture to outdoor and contract solutions.

"We are excited to partner with the January Furniture Show and debut our latest collections to the UK and European markets,” says Brad Miller, VP of international sales at Hooker Furnishings. “This opportunity allows us to engage with key stakeholders, showcase our craftsmanship, and strengthen our relationships in this vital market. Our partnership with JFS aligns perfectly with our mission to create exceptional experiences for both our clients and partners.”

At the show, Hooker Furnishings will introduce the Modern Country Collection, which includes five ranges, catering to a variety of styles, including modern, traditional and eclectic aesthetics.

"This collection represents a significant milestone for Hooker Furnishings as we expand into the UK and European markets," adds Jeremy Hoff, CEO of Hooker Furnishings, who Furniture News interviewed in December's issue (see related).

"Developed in collaboration with local designers and retailers, it embodies our dedication to creating furniture that resonates with the distinct preferences of local consumers, while reflecting our 100-year legacy of quality and craftsmanship. We are excited to connect with industry leaders at the January Furniture Show and showcase designs that combine timeless appeal with modern innovation."

The VIP Lounge will also feature a one-of-a-kind bar cabinet from Hooker Furnishings. Unveiled at the Electrifying the Spirit of Ecstasy: Celebrating 120 Years of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars event in London, this bespoke cabinet showcases Hooker Furnishings' dedication to quality and artistry.
