Vietnam export fair to kick off Far East circuit

With the stated aim of strengthening the diversification of the global furniture industry and enhancing the strength of its local manufacturers, Vietnam's HawaExpo fair will take place from 22nd–25th February 2023 at SECC (Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center, Ho Chi Minh City).

Organised by the Handicraft and Wood Association of Ho Chi Minh City (HAWA) in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Industry and Trade, the show will feature indoor, outdoor and office furniture, hospitality and project solutions, gifts and handicrafts, home accessories, hardware, wood materials and panels, plus wooden housing components.

"This fair is an important part of the furniture fair chain of the ASEAN Furniture Industry Council (AFIC)'s members, acting as a first mover to motivate the next fairs in Malaysia, Indonesia, and China," states HAWA, "to welcome international buyers at the peak of 2023's furniture sourcing season in South East Asia.

"At the fair, different businesses will exhibit key products on-site, with many markets and segments, promising to be a hugely exciting 'one-stop' furniture sourcing show, to meet the needs of the industrial chain with high-quality supply needs."

HawaExpo also attempts to connect buyers and exhibitors through extensive side events including B2B matching, seminars, and networking events.

HawaExpo 2023 will also offer more in-depth assistance to visitors through initiatives like OSB (Organizer Support Buyer – buyer hospitality, sourcing), and OSE (Organizer Support Exhibitor – training, promotion).

The OSB programs will kick off with a range of special benefits for visitors tpre-registering through HawaExpo’s website before 15th January, such as sourcing support, free networking pass and buyer's kits.
