Hypnos celebrates British bedmaking at Las Vegas Market

Hypnos is supporting its growth in the US by exhibiting at Las Vegas Market with its partner for the region for over 10 years, Paramount Sleep Company.

The fourth generation, family-owned Paramount Sleep Company celebrated its 90th year at the Las Vegas Market, and says it shares Hypnos’ values of "integrity, innovation and craftmanship".

The four-day event saw the launch of the Hypnos Whole Sleep Wool Series, a collection of pocket-sprung mattresses inspired by British mattress design and style, reimagined for the American market. Like its British counterparts, the wool used is ethically sourced through the Woolkeepers and includes British wool from assured farms. 

“I’m delighted to be celebrating 90 years of craftmanship with Paramount Sleep Company at Las Vegas Market with the launch of our Hypnos Whole Sleep Wool Series mattresses,” says James Keen, Hypnos CEO.  “For a decade we’ve been working successfully with the team at Paramount to create Hypnos mattresses to meet the particular needs of US consumers and establish our great British brand as a marque of quality and integrity.”

Group MD David Baldry attended the event and visited stores across the region. He says: “The results of our efforts speak volumes, and we are now enjoying strong sales within the country. Hypnos mattresses feature in some of America’s most famous retailers, including New York’s Bloomingdales department store.  Our heritage as a historic British brand and Royal Warrant holder has proven to be an appealing proposition that has no doubt helped our growth.”
