IFHS 2026 recognises its best in show

The Irish Furniture & Homewares Awards 2026 celebrated the best of this year’s Irish Furniture & Homewares Show (IFHS), recognising stand-out products, leading exhibitors and excellence in innovation, sustainability, presentation and sales.

Held on the evening of the show’s opening day (23rd August), the awards brought exhibitors together after a busy first day of trading for an evening of recognition and celebration, says the show's organiser: "Reflecting the quality, diversity and fresh thinking across this year’s exhibitor line-up, the awards showcased the strength of the products, brands and ideas presented throughout IFHS 2026."

Competition was strong across the categories, with head judge Amanda Bone assessing entries in the Global Product, European Product, Sustainability Initiative and Display & Exhibition Stand categories, alongside awards recognising supplier and sales excellence.

"A registered architect and judge on RTÉ’s Home of the Year, Amanda brought extensive experience across architecture, interiors and residential design to the judging process," says the IFHS. "Her expert and discerning eye helped identify the entries that stood out for their design, quality, innovation and presentation, further reinforcing the significance of the Irish Furniture & Homewares Awards.

"The awards provided a fitting close to the opening day, celebrating the achievements of this year’s winners while capturing the energy, ambition and innovation that defined the exhibiting community at the Irish Furniture & Homewares Show 2026."

This year's winners were:

Best Global Product: Highgrove Beds, The Elements Collection (Bluebone's Mammoth Dining Table was highly commended, and Alcore Living's Sindhu also shortlisted)

Best Sustainability Initiative: Cirtex (Respa Beds was highly commended, and Cirtex also shortlisted)

Best European Product: GlamMore, ECLIPSE (Sealy's Select Medium Luxe was highly commended, and Adjust-a-Bed's Wallhugger Adjustable Base also shortlisted)

Best Display & Exhibition Stand: Bluebone (Welcome Furniture the runner up)

Best Supplier: Respa Beds (pictured)

Best Sales Representative: Conor Peacock (Faith & Ethan)

"The awards reflected the quality, creativity and ambition seen throughout the IFHS 2026 show floor," says the show organiser. "Highgrove Beds took home Best Global Product for The Elements Collection, while Cirtex was awarded Best Sustainability Initiative. GlamMore secured Best European Product with ECLIPSE, and Bluebone was recognised for Best Display & Exhibition Stand, with Welcome Furniture named runner-up.

"Respa Beds was named Best Supplier, while Conor Peacock from Faith & Ethan received the award for Best Sales Representative. Highly commended recognition also went to Bluebone for the Mammoth Dining Table, Respa Beds for its sustainability initiative and Sealy for the Select Medium Luxe.

"This year’s awards also provided an opportunity to recognise Lebus Upholstery, Bluebone and Signature Living for their long-standing support of the show, marking 10 years of exhibiting at IFHS. Their continued involvement reflected the strong relationships that have helped shape and strengthen the event over the past decade.

"The awards were one of the highlights of IFHS 2026, celebrating not only this year’s winners but also the commitment, creativity and continued support of the wider exhibiting community.

"Across the three days of IFHS 2026, trade visitors had the opportunity to meet exhibitors, discover the latest furniture and homewares collections and see many of this year’s award-winning products and stands first-hand. With another successful show now complete, the awards offered a fitting reflection of the quality, innovation and ambition seen throughout this year’s event."
