The 49th CIFF Guangzhou, which took place this summer instead of in its usual March slot, has been declared an "online-offline success" by the show's organiser.
The show was held in two phases – from 17-20th and 26-29 July – at the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou Pazhou.
It occupied a total of 510,000 sqm of exhibition space, welcomed over 2500 exhibitors from 23 countries and regions, and attracted 139,574 trade visitors – as well as staging eight thematic exhibitions and over 130 conferences and forums.
For the first time, CIFF Guangzhou was also held online on various social and multimedia channels, reinforcing its position as one of Asia's most strategically important business platforms, bringing the furniture industry together under one roof and generating synergy between China's domestic and international markets.
The Home Furniture show featured major companies including 70 designer brands that had not participated in CIFF in the last five years.
CIFF Shanghai is set to return from 5-8th September 2022, while the next CIFF Guangzhou will run from 18th March 2023.
