Irish home furnishings brand Scatter Box has received two Highly Commended accolades at the 2026 eComm Live Awards, with its new digital platform recognised in both the B2B eCommerce Website of the Year and DIY, Home, Furniture & Interior Design eCommerce Website of the Year categories.
The awards ceremony took place on Friday 18th September, in the Round Room at the Mansion House in Dublin, bringing together businesses and industry leaders from across the ecommerce sector.
For the Navan-based, second-generation family business, the recognition marks an important milestone in its continued investment in digital development and, in particular, its ambition to make doing business with Scatter Box as straightforward and convenient as possible for its retail partners. Scatter Box says being recognised alongside some of the country's leading ecommerce businesses was a significant achievement for its team and reflects the work that has gone into developing an online platform capable of meeting the very different requirements of both its trade and consumer customers.
While the awards provide valuable industry recognition, Scatter Box says some of the most encouraging feedback has come directly from its trade customers. Since the introduction of the new website, the response from retailers has been extremely positive, it says, with customers consistently commenting on how easy the platform is to navigate and, most importantly, the additional convenience it has brought to their day-to-day business.
Every Scatter Box trade customer has access to their own online account, creating a dedicated B2B environment where they can view new-season products that are not yet available to the general public, see current stock levels, place orders online and review their previous orders. The result is a much more transparent and flexible way of working with Scatter Box, giving retailers access to the information they need without having to wait for office hours or contact the sales team for routine queries.
Early access to upcoming collections has become an especially valuable part of the B2B experience. Trade customers can log into their account and discover new Scatter Box products before they are released publicly, giving retailers an opportunity to plan their buying and upcoming collections in advance. Alongside this, visibility of current stock levels allows customers to make quicker and more informed purchasing decisions, while access to previous orders makes it easier to check what they have purchased before and identify products they may wish to reorder.
Bringing all of this information together within one account, alongside the ability to place an order directly through the website, has helped simplify the buying process considerably, says Scatter Box, whose objective was "never simply to put trade ordering online, but to create a genuinely useful B2B resource that saves retailers time and makes their interaction with the brand easier".
The investment in B2B ecommerce comes at a time when Scatter Box's product portfolio has expanded significantly. Alongside the cushions for which the brand is known, today's collection extends across throws, curtains, bedlinen, wall art, rugs, occasional furniture, lighting, accessories and ottomans.
The website was developed in partnership with digital agency Mitso.
