Agent association welcomes new member

The South West Furniture Manufacturers, Agents and Reps Federation (SWFMARF) has welcomed a new member, agent Colin Boyce (representing Furmanac, Sleepsense International, Mattsons Beds and Enchanted House Beds).

SWFMRF was established in 1992 to promote sales to trade customers in South-west England and South Wales. The association is run by a committee led by agents Andrew Lip and John Pilling, and supported by Sas Haines and Karen Shapland. The not-for-profit organisation also organises the annual South West Furniture & Bed Show, which this year will take place at Sedgemoor Auction Centre, North Petherton, from 5-7th September.

“I’m so pleased to be part of this special group," says Colin. "Although I work nationally nowadays, the South West has been my traditional area for over 20 years and will always be ‘home ground’, so it’s really good to be part of SWFMARF and to be able to take my regional agencies to the show.

"The board at SWFMARF spend countless hours each week building a community for likeminded professionals, and work tirelessly to put on a very good furniture show in the South West, which I firmly believe all of us in the region should support. Great brands exhibit at the show, and all the regions' reps and agents work hard to bring it all together for the local retailers."

Colin will present new products from Furmanac and Sleepsense International at this year's show.

John Pilling adds: “We're all looking forward to the 2023 edition of the South West Furniture & Bed Show."
