Bed manufacturer Airsprung Beds recently joined in with the World's Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. A wide array of baked goods was made available, and proceeds from the sales went to the charity.
Pam Long, who organised the event, was delighted with the results, saying: "Everybody really came out to support the event. Most of the cakes were home made by the ladies (and a couple of the gents), and people were coming in throughout the day to buy them."
The staff generated £216 for Macmillan, with the company matching donations to bring the total to £432.
