Housing Units, a privately-owned home furnishing centre based in Failsworth, Manchester, is set to launch a major new TV campaign this week highlighting its unique offering, named All Your Favourite Things.

The TV campaign – backed by a six-figure media schedule – will run on ITV throughout April and May, breaking on 17th April during the advert break of Emmerdale, with subsequent adverts airing during episodes of Coronation Street, Loose Women and Tipping Point. The campaign is being supported with a PR and social media drive using hashtag trend, #favouritethings, with relatable content and competitions scheduled over the coming months.

Nick Fox, merchandise and marketing director at Housing Units, says: “The philosophy behind All Your Favourite Things is to celebrate everything that is great about Housing Units. The TV campaign follows a family of four around the store as they describe the special things that excite our customers, from the first greeting, to the extensive choice throughout each department, to the fulfilling stop-off at one of our two restaurants. The campaign is centralised around a self-penned song which we’re really proud of, and the vocals come from local talent, Amber Whitworth.”

The campaign, developed by Cheshire-based agency We Are Brave, and using the latest Steadicam technology, includes a 30-second brand- and sale-led advert which will be supported with 10-second sale- and product-led adverts supporting the spring/summer promotion.
