Online registration has now opened for the new January Furniture Show, taking place from Tuesday 13th to Thursday 15th January 2015 at Birmingham’s NEC. Anyone intending to visit the show next year can now register online here, and registration will be open throughout the show.
Bookings for the biggest furniture event of the year have been further boosted by 23 new exhibitor sign-ups since the Manchester Furniture Show – also organised by Furniture Fairs – in July.
To cope with ongoing demand for space at the show, the organiser recently announced that it would be expanding into the Pavilion - adjacent to hall 1 – adding a further 3000 sqm of exhibitor space and an additional 30 stands, along with a British-themed cafe.
Furniture Fairs co-director Laraine Janes says: “It is clear that the industry wants a January event to showcase its products to retailers. The 2015 show will be the 25th consecutive furnishings event to be held in January at the NEC because it’s the traditional time for stocking up after the Christmas and January sales.”
New exhibitors confirmed include Sits, Tamarisk Designs, Womack, Blue Poppy Art, BOS Interiors, Clivedon, DB Mirrors, Express Sofas, Febland, Foshan Jinxianhua Hardware Products, Furlong Flooring, ISM networks, Mindy Browne, Kyoto Furniture, Staingard, Wintech, Worth Furnishings, Your China Mattress, Lovelane, Zolano, Mark Harris Commercials, Red Mud and Oakinsen.
Phillip French, UK agent for Sits in Poland, comments: “We [Sits] are delighted to announce our return to the new look furniture show at the NEC in January. The January show has always been a great success for us and we look forward to showing in our new position in hall 1.”
The January Furniture Show 2015 will be located in halls 1-3 and the Pavilion. The 2016 show will run revert to the traditional Sunday opening for three days from Sunday 24th to Tuesday 26 January.
