Collins and Hayes revamps website

The trade website for East Sussex-based upholstery brand Collins and Hayes has enjoyed a significant overhaul, mirroring the developments taking place at the manufacturer to widen its brand's audience and strengthen its appeal.

According to MD Matt O'Flynn, the site now benefits from "a much more image-rich home page and cataloguing with more features, including a guarantee-registering facility". Transfering the website onto a new platform also means that there is much more potential for "interactive developments in the future".

Matt says that the site will be further updated once the new products have been launched at the January Furniture Show, taking place from 13-15th of next month at the Birmingham NEC.

“When I joined the company a few months ago, I saw that the brand was capable of working so much harder,” says Matt. "We needed to upgrade our product focus, introducing more expressive, ambitious designs – while continuing to support the existing range. It’s been no small task!

“We’re still a contemporary classic brand, but we’re taking our styling in a new direction, and aiming to engage with buyers’ feelings on a deeper level. It’s about Collins and Hayes redefining its own, unique place in the market, and giving our retailers what’s right for them.”

Prior to his appointment at Collins and Hayes, Matt was responsible for developing an advanced product configurator tool at his previous company, John Sankey.
