Harrogate show partner renews contract

Building on a longstanding relationship with Clarion Events, Arena Structures has been awarded a further three years providing temporary structures to the Home and Gift Fair held in Harrogate. The event, held annually in July, has long since outgrown the extensive facilities provided by the Harrogate International Centre, and this year Arena delivered 6000 sqm of infrastructure in the grounds of the adjacent Majestic Hotel.

Arena installed four structures this year and to maximise the site footprint one area was supplied with a double deck facility. This created additional space and improved visitor experience by offering guests more undercover catering facilities.  Arena Structures also managed all the power and climate control systems inside the temporary venues and the sub-structure bases on this undulating site.

Simon Marsh, Arena Structures’ account director, comments: “We have worked closely with Clarion Events on the Home and Gift Fair for a number of years and it is always such a great pleasure to work with their team. We are hugely proud to have the contract renewed for the next three years and are really looking forward to supporting the show’s future growth and expansion.”

Cleere Scamell, Home and Gift Harrogate’s show director, comments: “Home & Gift Harrogate is a unique show – that rare, successful combination of business and pleasure – a trade show that our visitors and exhibitors actually look forward to every year. Arena has always cared about the event and that shows from the planning stages, where interesting and practical new ideas are always forthcoming, right through to outstanding delivery on site. What makes Arena special is that they have always taken it in their stride and helped us deliver the event every time.”
