OKA launches new store in Bath

British luxury furniture and home accessories retailer OKA continues to strengthen its UK retail presence, recently opening the doors to its twelfth shop in historic Bath. The new store marks another expansion milestone as OKA progresses with its new store programme for the next three years.

The store is set in a three-storey Georgian townhouse at the top of Milsom Street, the heart of the established interior design sector in the city. The showroom occupies 4000 sq ft in a listed building with a colourful history of former occupants, including Parkhouse & Co. Fancy Goods Dealers and silk mercer and milliner, Madame Chammouillet, in the 19th century.

The store is led by store manager, Claire Livingstone, and a team of knowledgeable staff who are on hand to give insight into the extensive product range. For those seeking more guidance, complimentary consultations can be booked with OKA Bath’s professional interior designer in-store two days a week.

Open seven days a week, OKA Bath stocks a substantial selection of the range, from lamps, cushions, rattan, tableware and other home accessories, to sofas, chairs, dining tables, side tables and much larger furniture. The store features seasonally-styled roomsets, a source of inspiration for home lovers and redecorators alike. OKA Bath also houses an entirely faux florist with the Bunched by OKA range of faux flowers, bouquets and plants. Whether choosing a pre-tied bunch or looking to create a bespoke arrangement with single stems, the expert team will help.

OKA co-founder Annabel Astor says: “We are delighted to have opened our newest store in Bath, a city with a quintessentially British heritage that resonates with OKA’s brand essence. As one of the UK’s leading homewares brands, we are confident that our covetable collection will appeal to the wide range of visitors that flock to the city and residents alike.

“Our intention is to open more shops a year over the following years - there’s a huge growth potential – and this new store marks the start of an exciting phase in OKA’s journey”.
