Duvalay secures Good Housekeeping Institute approval

Sleep expert Duvalay has secured the Good Housekeeping Institute (GHI) Approved endorsement for its best-selling mattress, The Diamond. Part of the Hilary Devey collection, The Diamond mattress is handmade from Duvalay's Yorkshire-based factory.

GHI Approved is an unbiased, independent endorsement that is given only to products that pass the Good Housekeeping Quality Assessment tests. It provides consumers and retailers with a stamp of approval from the UK’s most trusted magazine brand.

Over the course of a two-month rigorous testing period, conducted by the GHI experts, The Diamond mattress was found to be both comfortable and 'luxurious' to sleep on, as well as providing a good night’s sleep. Feedback was especially positive, with the overall score rated as 9 out 10.

Liz Colleran, director at Duvalay, says: “Our Hilary Devey collection has already received some fantastic feedback from top interior journalists and bloggers and Good Housekeeping was the natural progression in continuing on to make our mark on the bed industry.

“The Good Housekeeping Approved logo will give consumers confidence in the product that they are buying, while also making our products stand out in a marketplace crowded by other brands and choice.

“Feedback from the testers highlighted that our labour-intensive features of hand side-stitched borders make our Diamond mattress extra luxurious and value for money.”

Offering consumers supreme quality, The Diamond mattress features 2000 individually nested pocket springs, and with a summer and winter side, it provides users with a good night’s sleep all year round thanks to its cotton side for summer, which wicks moisture away and a wool side for winter that provides a snug-like effect.
