ACID to host seminar during January Furniture Show

The January Furniture Show has announced a breakfast seminar to be held during the event, hosted by Anti Copying in Design (ACID), in association with McDaniel & Co.

The seminar will be held on Tuesday 23rd January from 08.00-08.45am in the Hall 5 Organisers Suite. Here, industry experts will address topics such as protecting designs and Intellectual Property and more during a seminar entitled Design Law: The ACID Test.

Those interested can learn how ACID’s IP Databank (©, Designs & TMs) holding approximately 300,000 designs has helped thousands of settlements for ACID members over nearly two decades.

Dids Macdonald OBE, CEO of ACID and Niall Head-Rapson, director of leading Intellectual Property solicitors McDaniel & Co will offer exhibitors the opportunity to learn more about the basics of IP, design protection, maximising and commercialising designs and how to create a proactive IP strategy.

Exhibitors wanting to reserve a place at the breakfast seminar should RSVP to [email protected] as spaces are limited.

Anti Copying in Design is the UK’s leading membership and campaigning organisation for Design and Intellectual Property, and will be exhibiting in Hall 1 on stand B90.
