With the start of its new Future Partnership strategy next month, John Lewis Partnership plans to stop publishing weekly sales figures, yet will continue to disclose its performance in FY, HY and annual reports.

Last week's picture was generally negative, with overall sales down -2.5%, and Home sales down -9.3% as the end of the retailer's clearance sale coincided competitor promotions – yet sales of the new SS20 ranges proved strong, states Bérangère Michel, operations director at John Lewis & Partners.
