Polish furniture exhibition postponed to May 2021

Poland's Meble Polska and Home Decor exhibitions, which were to take place in February, have been postponed to 25-28th May 2021.

Due to the current and predicted course of the pandemic, the Board of Directors of Grupa MTP decided to postpone most of the events organised at the MTP Poznan Expo in the first half of 2021.

"There was a significant risk that a large group of foreign buyers would not be able to come to Poznań in February due to various restrictions," says Meble Polska's director, Józef Szyszka. "After consultation with a group of the largest exhibitors and representatives of selected buyers groups, we came to the conclusion that the optimum date for the fair will be May. This is a temporary return to the old date when the furniture fair in Poznan was held. However, we hope that next editions can be organised again at the beginning of the year."

Kinga Dobrowolska-Baczkun, the director of Home Decor, adds: "We have received signals that May is also beneficial for the interior design industry."

Due to its more varied audience, which comprises design enthusiasts including students and the general public, Arena Design's next edition will not take place until 2022.
