FIRA International has confirmed that it is conducting a review of its inspection and repair business, FIRA Service Technicians, regarding a potential exit from the market.
The business, which is part of the Element Group, started a formal consultation process with those FIRA International colleagues who may be affected by the outcome of this review on 13th May, and says it has written to customers to reassure them that they will be fully supported during this period, "and will continue to receive the same high quality service that they have come to rely on".
Many furniture retailers and manufacturers employ FIRA Service Technicians as part of their customer care programme, and are supported by its independent inspection and repair service. Presently, there is no firm decision on the outcome of the review, states FIRA International.
