British garden furniture retailer Moda Furnishings reports that it has doubled in size in the past year, and has seen furniture sales increase by over +60% YoY.
Moda, which has been backed by private equity investor, Endless, since 2019, has also made its first appearance in the Sunday Times BDO Profit Track 100, ranking 64th, while founder Jonny Brierley (pictured) has been nominated for the EYs Entrepreneur of the Year 2021.
The omnichannel retailer of premium modular furniture is based in the North West of England.
Jonny has led the company’s growth to meet rising customer demands and effectively tackle supply chain concerns. “Since lockdown, people are seeing their outdoor space as an additional room in the home and making use of it in all seasons," he says. "Adding high-quality, all-weather furniture and firepits brings value to your home and lifestyle, plus by extending our own Moda Furnishings storage facilities and showrooms we’re able to meet demand and demonstrate our specialist expertise, in-house delivery service and dedicated customer service.”
Jonny has doubled Moda's headcount in 2021, increased its in-house delivery fleet and warehouse capacity, invested in the supply chain and has introduced new, in-house-designed collections of furniture to appeal to its expanding target market throughout the UK.
