Dreams has announced changes to its senior leadership team, with the appointment of Jo Martin to CMO and the promotion of Kal Singh to COO.
Both appointments are with immediate effect, and the pair will report directly to Jonathan Hirst, who officially takes over as chief executive on 1st January 2022.
Jo joins Dreams from Sally Salon Services, where she was European marketing director. Previously head of marketing at B&Q and ASDA, she brings over 30 years of retail experience. In her role, she will lead the marketing and communications team, developing the marketing and brand strategy across channels.
Kal joined Dreams in 2019 as supply chain and distribution director, and has been promoted to COO, the role previously held by Jonathan Hirst. Kal has been crucial to future-proofing Dream’s supply chain, enhancing its distribution capabilities through a £3.5m investment into Dreams’ warehouse and the upgrade to its delivery fleet, as well as leading its newly acquired Feather & Black business.
