3D visualisation specialist targets growth following acquisition

3D product visualisation platform Cylindo has been acquired by Chaos, a world leader in photorealistic rendering technology, which aims to build "the first end-to-end platform for visualisation and 3D commerce for the home and beyond".

Chaos recently merged with Enscape, a leading developer of real-time rendering tech for the architecture, engineering, and construction industries.

“Cylindo and Chaos share a common mission of making visualisation easy. We are thrilled to join Chaos to create an end-to-end platform for architectural visualisation, 3D commerce, and beyond,” says Janus Jagd, CEO, Cylindo.

Cylindo will continue to operate as an independent brand, collaborating closely with the Chaos team. The acquisition now brings Chaos' joint workforce to approximately 700 employees across the globe.

“We are excited to welcome Cylindo, a very fast-growing 3D product visualisation platform, to the growing Chaos family. Our acquisition of Cylindo is the next stepping stone to becoming a world leader in 3D visualisation. With Cylindo, we can meet increasing needs for easy-to-use, high-quality 3D visualisation, augmented reality, and virtual reality technologies across numerous industries,” say Christian Lang and Peter Mitev, co-CEOs, Chaos.
