Bensons opens new Oxfordshire store

Bensons for Beds is moving into a new store in Oxfordshire, in the latest opening of one of its new-concept stores designed to offer customers in the area the widest range possible.

The bed and mattress retailer is moving into Unit 29, Orchard Shopping Centre, Didcot, marking a return to the site it vacated two years ago.

The new store opens on Friday 1st July, with around 4000 sqft of trading space on the ground floor and another 4000 sqft on the mezzanine. It will employ four colleagues.

Bensons’ chief customer officer, Frankie Haynes, says: “We’re looking forward to opening our new Didcot store where we can show the best of what Bensons for Beds has to offer to people in the city and the surrounding region."

The store is run by manager Tylor Varney, who has rejoined the company.

The refit is the latest investment by Bensons under its transformation plan, and follows the opening of eight stores in December and nine so far this year.
